I would like to know if anyone has tried the beta of audacity for mac. It seems much friendlier however I am experiencing a problem getting the laim mp3 plugin to export my files correctly. Any thoughts? Also any tips or short cuts for muting or solowing tracks would be welcome. woof!
Hey there willie. I hav enot tried it yet, although I do know my friend mike has tried it and did not like it, though I don't know if he even gave it the time of day so don't go by what I've said here. The program recordpad I've been using apparently is a trial and garage band I am still working on getting to work right. I will try audacity out soon and report back on it.
Hold on. I'm not sure if it was the beta version or not. I'l double check that, and get back to ya. And to the point that I didn't give it the time of day, after I hunt with u on skype, I kept messing with it, and got a little bit somewhere but not far. I'm still having trouble adding effects, and noise reduction, and things like that. But, as I said, I'm not sure on the version. Give me five minutes or so, and I'll let u know.
ok news. I looked, but the about option is dimmed. And when I checked preferences, their was no update tab, so I'm not sure what I can do.
LOL, that is like mike to always have trouble so please excuse him. As for me, I will be doing some research this afternoon. I will report useful information later on.
